Galway International Arts Festival

Challenge

The Galway International Arts Festival required real-time digital storytelling to capture the scale, energy, and diversity of live events while maintaining consistent brand communication across social and owned channels. The challenge was to support the marketing team in documenting live experiences, engaging audiences both on-site and online, and repurposing content efficiently to extend the festival’s reach beyond the event timeline.

Solution

Working closely with the festival’s marketing and social media teams, I supported live event coverage by capturing on-ground content, developing Instagram stories, and assisting in the production of artist interviews. Long-form interviews and recordings were repurposed into short-form social content, blog features, and email newsletter assets, ensuring content longevity across multiple platforms. In addition to content creation, I actively supported community engagement initiatives, liaising with attendees and assisting the team during live events to ensure smooth execution and a positive audience experience. This collaborative approach helped amplify the festival’s digital presence while maintaining alignment with its creative and cultural identity.
